Summer Fundraiser @ Oak Tree Station

Our summer sale was held at Oak Tree Station on a really nice, bright and sunny day. Huge thanks to Oak Tree Station for hosting us! We set up outside the shaved ice truck and brought a bunch of crochet items to sell, including fluffy octopi keychains, turtles, bunnies, Snoopy, cherry blossom keychains, and more.

We had a lot of adorable kids come up to look at all the keychains and turtles, and the parents were so nice and willing to buy things for their kids. One of my favorite moments was seeing one girl take her new turtle out to the field to play with it. It was absolutely adorable and honestly made me so happy to see someone enjoy something we had made that much.

It was also really interesting seeing what ended up being popular. The bunnies, Snoopy, octopi, and turtles were all pretty popular, although there was definitely a lot of competition for everyone's attention. We only accepted cash for this sale, but we're hoping to be able to accept cards and other online payment methods soon as we're getting our bank account set up.

Of course, we also had to get some boba while we were running the booth, which was very yummy and definitely made the day even better lol.

Half of the proceeds from the sale will be going to the Clark County Food Bank, which made the fundraiser especially meaningful to us. Overall, it was just a really fun experience. We got to spend a nice summer day outside, talk to people in the community, see which of our crochet pieces everyone liked, and raise money for a good cause at the same time. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us!
